The one day seminar will cover a variety of subjects including songwriting, music industry, funding, copyright issues .. This is your chance to be in the same room with members of staff from Australasian Performing Rights Association APRA, Creative New Zealand &  New Zealand Music Industry Commission.

To impart knowledge on Songwriting, also present at the seminar,  will be one of NZ's Iconic Songwriters and Recording Artists Sharon O'Neill an expat Nelsonian who's music not only took her into the NZ and Australian Charts but also has written for film and for other recording artists. Together with her partner Alan Mansfield who has a BA is in music from the Boston Conservatorium and a vast history including touring as a keyboard player with Bette Midler, Robert Palmer & as a member of Kiwi Group Dragon, Alan has also worked in the industry in the capacity as a producer.  Finally Liam Ryan Liam Ryan with a masters degree in music, a lecturer & recording artist from NZ hit band The Narks, who now resides in the Nelson Region and will be the director of the seminar on the day.

This is rare opportunity for the local music industry  in our region.  Be in early with your registration so as not to miss out ..
